First Image of SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD
It's been quite a long time since we have heard anything about Edgar Wright's new film Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World. There was a time during the production that not a day went by that we didn't see a new photo or video from the production.
Today Edgar Wright released the first official photo featuring some of the cast members of the film that you can see above. He took the photo at an angle but our friends over at /Film did a little photoshop job to give us a better look at it, which you can see below.
The scene in the photo most likely takes place in Lee's Palace which is one of the venues where the band plays in the story. As far as the characters are concerned, here is a run-down of who is in the picture:
Starting on the left we have Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera), Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Young Neil (Johnny Simmons), Knives Chau (Ellen Wong), Kim Pine (Allison Pill) and Stephen Stills (Mark Webber).
Here is a little story synopsis:
Scott Pilgrim's life is so awesome. He's 23 years old, in a rock band, "between jobs," and dating a cute high school girl. Everything's fantastic until a seriously mind-blowing, dangerously fashionable, roller blading delivery girl named Ramona Flowers starts cruising through his dreams and sailing by him at parties. But the path to Ms. Flowers isn't covered in rose petals. Ramona's seven evil exes stand between Scott and true happiness. Can Scott beat the bad guys and get the girl without turning his precious little life upside-down?
The film is based on the Oni Press graphic novel Scott Pilgrim Volume 1: Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life, written by Bryan Lee O'Malley.
Apparently this movie is going to blow our socks off. According to the few people that have seen footage from the film they say it's unlike anything we have seen before. I can't wait!
