First Trailer and Poster for SHREK FOREVER AFTER

I seriously can't believe DreamWorks Animation made a fourth Shrek movie. Okay, yes I can. The world of Shrek just really isn't appealing to me anymore. But there are a bunch of kids out there that are no doubt going to love it, and like many parents out there I am most likely going to end up seeing the film because my kids are going to want to see it, just like every other animated movie that is being made.

Well, we now have the first trailer and poster for Shrek Forever After, and in it they say that this is the final chapter. But don't forget we have the Puss in Boots spin-off movie being developed as well. Once again the movie is going to have a ton of pop culture references. There's no doubt that the animation is going to be great though.

Here's the story synopsis:

Shrek has become a domesticated family man. Instead of scaring villagers away like he used to, the grown-reluctant ogre agrees to autograph pitch forks. Longing for the days when he felt like a "real ogre," Shrek is tricked into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumplestiltskin is king, Donkey is an intellectual, Lord Farquaad is still alive, and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, it's up to Shrek to undo all of Rumpelstiltskin's mischief in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world, and reclaiming his One True Love and family.

The film stars Mike Myers, Paul McCartney, Eddie Murphy, John Lithgow and Cameron Diaz.
