THE RUNAWAYS Teaser Trailer with Kristen Stewart
Kristen Stewart can once again be seen in this new teaser trailer for her upcoming film The Runaways, biting her lip. For those of you that haven't caught on, lip biting is her on screen trademark. Check out her lip biting montage Here.
Kristen Stewart plays Joan Jett, Dakota Fanning is Cherie Currie, Alia Shawkat takes the role of Robin, and Scout Taylor-Compton plays Lita Ford in a coming of age biopic about the the rise of The Runaways, an all-girl teenage 1970's rock band.
The movie is based on lead-singer Cherie Currie's book 'Neon Angel' - a reflection of her experiences as a rock star, but also delivering a strong anti-drug warning to teens and others. It chronicles their surreal but spectacular rise to fame, then alienation and burnout.
I'm really hoping this movie turns out to be good, but this trailer hasn't sold me on it. The film is set to premiere at The Sundance Film Festival. Check out the teaser trailer below and tell us what you think!
