The SAG Award Nominations Are In

Movieby Joey Paur

There's been a lot of critic lists and award nominations that have come out the last couple of weeks. Now the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) has thrown out what they think are the most memorable and best performances of the year.

The SAG award winners are chosen by the actors. So the actors vote for who they think was the best actor of the year. I would think this means a lot to the people nominated and most importantly the people that win.

The films with the most nominations are: Inglourious Basterds (Supporting Male and Female, and Ensemble Cast), Precious, (Lead and Supporting Actress, Ensemble Cast) and The Hurt Locker (Best Actor, Ensemble Cast). Even Jeremy Renner from The Hurt Locker got nominated, which is awesome. He did a great job in that movie but he hasn't been nominated by any other awards ceremony.

There were a ton of great performances this year, but I'm shocked that Viggo Mortenson wasn't nominated for The Road! Hands down one of the best performances of the year.
