ALIBI Comic Book Adaptation moving forward with Summit

Summit Entertainment is doing very well for itself due to the incredible success of New Moon, and they are out looking for the next big thing. They have jumped on board the Top Cow comic book adaptation, Alibi. We reported back in August that Mandville Films acquired the screen rights to the comic which was published last year.

The story centers on a well-known socialite whose public presence establishes a perfect alibi for the covert activity of his secret twin brother, a government assassin.

It has also been described as having the paranoia of Three Days of the Condor with the action of the Jason Bourne movies. They are hoping the film turns out being the next Wanted.

I haven't read the comic book so I don't know how good of a film it will make, but it sounds like it could be fun.
