Second trailer for Christopher Nolan's INCEPTION
Here's the second trailer for the high-concept thriller Inception from writer/director Christopher Nolan. You may have seen this already if you caught Sherlock Holmes this holiday weekend. But if you're like me and spent your vacation eating several Christmas dinners (and left overs) followed by hours (an extremely unhealthy amount) of napping and board games with the family... then this is new to you too!
This isn't quite a teaser but the 1:20 run time doesn't necessarily qualify it as a full feature trailer either (this trailer is in the in between). There is plenty more of the concept and plot revealed in this new preview. But just like an episode of Lost, the more "answers" we get the more questions we have!
A thriller set in the architecture of the mind, Inception stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a CEO-type involved in a blackmailing scandal. Marion Cotillard (La Vie en rose, Public Enemies) plays his wife, Ellen Page (Juno) is a young college grad student and DiCaprio’s sidekick, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days of Summer/G.I Joe) plays an associate working for DiCaprio. Ken Watanabe (Batman Begins/Letters To Iwo Jima) will play the man blackmailing Leonardo DiCaprio’s character. Tom Hardy (Bronson/Star Trek: Nemesis) is a member of DiCaprio’s team, with Lukas Hass (Brick/Entourage) Cillian Murphy (Batman Begins/ Sunshine) and Michael Caine rounding out the beyond stellar cast.
I'm sure this trailer will open up more theories as to what Nolan has planned for the psychological madness that he'll be putting us though. I sign myself up without hesitation. The July 16th release date cannot come soon enough.
