There is a good amount of positive buzz building up around this new Medieval period film Soloman Kane. The first time I heard or saw anything on it was at Comic-con and I was blown away by what I saw. I seriously can't wait to see this movie when it finally comes out on December 31st 2009.

James Purefoy stars in the adaptation of Conan the Barbarian author Robert E. Howard’s collection of stories The Savage Tales of Solomon Kane. The 16th century soldier Solomon Kane, who learns his life as a murderous pirate, has damned him, is determined to redeem himself, Kane vows to live a life of peace and goodness but is forced to fight once more when a dark power threatens the land. Rachel Hurd-Wood(Peter Pan) also stars as a the kidnapped girl that Kane must break his vows to save.
