25 More Films Made it into the National Registry including one of my All Time Favorites

Movie by Joey Paur

Once a year for the last 20 years, 25 films have been chosen to be added to the archive in the Library of Congress' National Film Registry.

There is a great list of movies that were selected this year in 2009, but I just wanted to point out a few that I was happy to see finally make it, like Michael Jackson's Thriller, The Muppet movie, The Incredible Shrinking Man is the only sci-fi film on the list this year, and Dog Day Afternoon is a classic Pachino film and Once Upon a Time in the West, which is one of my favorite movies. If you haven't seen it you must watch it! It's one of the greatest spaghetti westerns ever made.
