YOUTH IN REVOLT Red Band Trailer
Heres a great red-band trailer for Michael Cera's new film, Youth in Revolt. I had the opportunity to watch this movie not to long ago, and I absolutely loved it. Michael Cera is hilarious, definitely the best role that he's had so far. He may seem like he has the same kind of role in every movie that he does, but this one puts a little spin on it where he also plays his evil alter ego. Watch two Cera's interacting together is pretty funny, I laughed through most of the film.
The film is the irreverent story about the wild adventures of a teenage boy named Nick Twisp who meets the girl of his dreams while on a family vacation and has to turn his life and the lives of all those around him upside down in order to be with her.
The film, based on the novel, was directed by Miguel Arteta. Michael Cera plays Nick Twisp, newcomer Portia Doubleday will play Sheeni Saunders, Ray Liotta has been cast as Lance Wescott, Jean Smart as Estelle Twisp, Steve Buscemi as George Twisp, and Erik Knudsen as Leroy "Lefty". Justin Long takes the role of Paul Saunders, Sheeni's older brother. It is scheduled for release on January 8, 2010.
