Christopher Nolan has his next film lined up and it's not Batman 3

I wonder if this news is going to piss off Batman fans. If you are a little upset that Christopher Nolan's next film will not be Batman 3 don't hate on him too much, let the guy do a fresh new movie before he takes on the next Batman film. His next movie is still going to be freakin cool. The movie is called 'Inception' which is a science fiction action film that is set to be released Summer of 2010. Just so you know Warner Bros. is helping him develop the project because they obviously know the guy can make a fantastic film and they want him to direct Batman 3 after he is done with it. Variety reports:

"Chris Nolan is a visionary filmmaker who continually raises the bar with each movie he makes," Warner Bros. Pictures Group president Jeff Robinov said. "We are thrilled to be collaborating again with him and Emma on this exciting new motion picture."
"Inception" is described as "a contemporary sci-fi actioner set within the architecture of the mind."

I wish we had a little bit more information on the movie but it is bound to hit the net sooner or later. If you are wondering how long it will take Batman 3 to get made it will probably be about 3 years. We all need to be pretty damn patient. It's the same amount of time that passed between Nolan's original Batman and the sequel, so it should not be a problem to wait another 3 years.

Look on the bright side, he is still going to make a sci-fi film that is bound to be mind blowing.
