I have been so damn anxious to finally see this thing that I watched and posted a really lame hand held camera bootleg of the Teaser Trailer run on Entertainment Tonight last night. Then YouTube aired the clean version of that trailer but it had all that damn ET logo stuff all over the place and they talked over most of the freakin trailer. I have been waiting to see footage from Quentin Tarantino's film 'Inglorious Basterds' since I first heard he was finally going to make it! I read the script and loved it! I thought this could possibly be his best movie to date, and after watching this trailer I am sure of it. The way everything turned out in the trailer is exactly how I imagined it when I read the script. In the trailer we get our first look real look at Sam Levine, BJ Novack, Brad Pitt as he gives one of the greatest pep talks ever, and Eli Roth as he takes a swing with a baseball bat to one of the Nazi's head, and a cameo by Adolf Hitler throwing a tantrum.
A Basterds work is never done.
Inglourious Basterds begins in German-occupied France, where Shosanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent) witnesses the execution of her family at the hand of Nazi Colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). Shosanna narrowly escapes and flees to Paris, where she forges a new identity as the owner and operator of a cinema.
Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) organizes a group of Jewish soldiers to engage in targeted acts of retribution. Known to their enemy as "The Basterds," Raine's squad joins German actress and undercover agent Bridget Von Hammersmark (Diane Kruger) on a mission to take down the leaders of The Third Reich. Fates converge under a cinema marquee, where Shosanna is poised to carry out a revenge plan of her own...
