Film Clip: DC & WB's Animated WONDER WOMAN

by Joey Paur

We got a little film clip to share with you today from DC and Warner Bros upcoming animated DVD movie 'Wonder Woman'. We showed you the trailer not to long ago, which looked pretty good. I think out of all these DC Warner Bros animated film this one looks the best. I thought Both 'Superman Vs. Doomsday' and 'Justice League: The New Frontier' were awful. I liked how Justice League started off but 20 minutes into the film it was all over the place I was shocked at how bad it got.

As for Wonder Woman the animation and style looks good, as for the story that's yet to be seen. I am not a big fan of Bruce Timm's animation style which had been the back bone of Warner Animation since Batman the animated series. It worked great for that show! But how about some new style, and variety. Although Wonder Woman looks like it has adopted some Bruce Timm's there is also a little bit of evolution to the animation and design. I'm interested to see how this animated film turns out.

Warner Bros always goes all out for the voice talent: Voices include: Kerri Russell (Falicity), with Rosario Dawson (Death Proof), Nathan Fillion (Serenity), Virginia Madsen (Sideways) and Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2). It was directed by Lauren Montgomery.

On the mystical island of Themyscira, a proud and fierce warrior race of Amazons have raised a daughter of untold beauty, grace and strength: Princess Diana. When an Army fighter pilot, Steve Trevor, crash-lands on the island, the rebellious and headstrong Diana defies Amazonian law by accompanying Trevor back to civilization. Meanwhile, Ares (the god of War) has escaped his imprisonment at the hands of the Amazons and has decided to exact his revenge using the mystical "Hand of Rage," an ancient artifact with the power to raise armies from the dead and infuse them with a thirst for blood. Ares intends to start a world war that will not only last for centuries - but will wipe out every living being on the planet, starting with the Amazons. It is up to Princess Diana to save her people and the world - by using her gifts and becoming the ultimate Wonder Woman.
