Robert Rodriguez next movie will be 'Nerverackers'
I have seen this 'Nerverackers' movie pop up in a few places I even mentioned it not to long ago in an article I was writing up on 'Sin City 2' and it popped up as a potential project for Rodriguez, but I couldn't find any other information on it. Well, it looks like it this futuristic thriller will end up being Robert Rodriguez's next project with Dimension Films, and not 'Sin City 2', maybe Frank Miller will take that on all by his lonesome, and just kill it for good. Variety reports:
The multihyphenate will write and direct the pic, which already has a release date of April 16, 2010.
Set in 2085, the story centers on a character named Joe Tezca who is part of an elite unit dispatched to quell a crime wave in a theoretically perfect future society.
The little story summary is a vague as you can get, but we all love sci-fi films, and Rodriguez tends to make pretty fun movies, so I am sure it will end up being something worth watching. As you know there have also been rumors flying around that he is going to do a Predator reboot, and a Machete spin off as well, but it looks like that's not happening anytime soon if it's true.
