Not only is Hasbro bringing properties like 'Transformers' and 'G.I. Joe' to life but they have also decided to bring the popular 1980's Streatch Armstrong toy to life. Unlike G.I. Joe and Transformers Stretch never had his own cartoon TV show so it never really gathered a huge audience. I myself had the toy, and I just streached that thing until it broke. Even as a kid even though it was a toy I needed I still didn't get what it was really about, unless that all it was, a guy that you stretch out. There is no real story behind him so I have no expectations for the movie. CEO of Hasbro Brian Goldner recently talked to MTV about the film and offered some details on what we can expect.

"The thing about Stretch Armstrong is he was comedic, Imagine a comedic way to get into reluctantly finding out that you now have all these powers, and what do you do with it. Especially if people want to get their hands on those powers."

"You have to treat it comically, you have to find the right comic beats, Clearly Steve Oedekerk as our writer has the right kind of pedigree. So it's a sort of a big comedic superhero movie that will play to a very broad audience."

Steve Oedekerk has written films such as 'Kung Pow: Enter The Fist' and 'Ace Ventura: Nature Calls' so that will give you a very good idea of what to expect for the movie. It going to being that crazy zany comedy of wackyness that can be fun. Goldner also goes on to say it will be a live action film with a lot of special effects.
