Iron Man 2 is deep in pre-production right now and there is a lot of things going around that has been hard to confirm or deny especially what villain Mickey Rourke is supposed to play in 'Iron Man 2'. It was between Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash. Robert Downey Jr, recently sat down with MTV to discuss Iron Man 2 and and his response to Rourke playing either character is:

“That’s actually incorrect, I can neither confirm nor deny that, Or maybe it's some semblance of both. Here, I can tell you everything about the story except I won't give away the ending. The nerd stuff is top-drawer security."

So they obviously have a role in mind of Rourke and they want him in it but Rourke has yet to accept it. In the video interview below Downey jr. goes on to explain that the sequel will not have a villain overload, which can ruin a story.  The film will still focus on Tony Stark, the man, the myth, and the legend, and his responsibility that goes with the world knowing he is Iron man. He also promises that 'Iron Man 2' will be "three times more fun and strange" so that is some good news! I am glad he didn't go overboard and say something like 100 times more fun and strange. That's something Mark Wahlberg would say to promote his films.

I couldn't be more excited for 'Iron Man 2' we have a long ways to go, but the wait will be worth it. Check out the video interview below, its pretty fun.
