Two new Images from 'Astro Boy'
Remember that news about IMAGI closing their doors and not being able to finish 'Astro Boy'? Well, they did shut down for about a week and then the money came through, now they are all back on the job and ready fly. 'Astro Boy' is still on schedule to be released this October. Summit Entertainment will actually be showing some finished footage from the film this weekend at the New York Comic-Con. These are two new photos from the film. I think IMAGI has some great talent and I am looking forward to see what they bring to the table with 'Astro Boy'.
Set in futuristic Metro City, AstroBoy is about a young robot with incredible powers created by a brilliant scientist to replace the son he has lost. Unable to fulfill the grieving father's expectations, our hero embarks on a journey in search of acceptance, experiencing betrayal and a netherworld of robot gladiators, before he returns to save Metro City and reconcile with the man who had rejected him.
