WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE Movie Poster

I have really been looking forward to this Movie 'Where the Wild Things Are' which is being directed by Spike Jonze. I remember when this movie first went into production a few years ago. It is one of those films that has been through production hell. The biggest hiccup was after the first cut of the film was finished, no one liked it! They actually recast the lead boy in the movie and re-shot all of his scenes. You can read more about that here. He is the first image of the poster for the movie which popped up on the Spike Jonze Fan Blog. I'll be looking forward to the movie. The film has a great cast which includes: Catherine Keener, Max Records, Mark Ruffalo, Lauren Ambrose, James Gandolfini, Catherine O'Hara and Forest Whitaker, the big screen adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic book hits theaters on October 16.
