DANTE'S INFERNO will be Scripted by X-Men 2 Screenwriter Dan Harris
In Feb. we reported that Universal Picture won the bidding war for the rights to a Electronic Arts video game called 'Dante's Inferno'. Universal will turn the yet to be released video game into a movie. You can read more about that news, and watch the trailer for the game Right Here. It looks like it's gonna be pretty damn cool.
It is being reported that 'X2: X-Men United' and 'Superman Returns' screenwriter Dan Harris has been brought in to write the script for the film version of 'Dante's Inferno'. I liked X-Men 2 and I am interested to see what he will bring to the story.
The story is a modern interpretation of the epic poem from Dante's Divine Comedy. It will take the player and audience on an adventure through the nine circles of hell! The nine levels are organized by sins: Limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, anger, heresy, violence, fraud, and treachery.
