While we are bringing you new about projects that take place in the 1960's here is another you might find interesting. The 10 hour TV miniseries will be called 'The Kennedy's' and was created by '24' co-creator Joel Surnow. This is a show that is bound to stir up some controversy for the fact that it will unveil secrets about the liberal minded Kennedy family. The show will have a budget of $30 million. Variety reports:

According to Muse -- which sent out a press release Wednesday -- "The Kennedys" will explore "the soiled and crooked steps" the family took to get to the White House. It also tells the historical stories that are associated with the Kennedy era -- the Bay of Pigs, the Missile Crisis, the civil rights struggle, the mob connection -- each one told in the context of personal, Kennedy-family dramas."

Apparently there is one major U.S. cable network who is in talks to take on the project. Even though Surnow  is extremely conservative and obviously want to discredit the Keenedy's, executive producer Michael Prupas claims that it will be “surprising, arresting and truthful”. Whatever happens the show is sure to be a success. As we all know controversy sells. People on both sides of the fence are going to tune in because they are going to want to see what stories are going to be told. It sounds like it will be an interesting show to watch. What do you think? Are you going to watch it?
