Paramount Pictures Takes a Journey into Hell

by Joey Paur

Paramount Pictures has picked up a new script to develop as a feature film. The script is called 'Hellified' which is a supernatural action film which involves a journey into one of the greastest vactation spots ever... hell.

I can't help but think they are trying to jump on the 'Dante's Inferno' bandwagon with their own version of a journey into hell.

The script was written by Andy Burg whose only film credits include 'K-9',  'Alaska' and 'Trojan War'. The movie will be produced by Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, and they already have director Dan Bradley attached to the project as well. Bradley is mostly know for his stunt work and second unit director stuff. He is also attached to direct the remake of 'Red Dawn', which no one really seems to be excited about.

Apparently Andy Burg got himself a six-figure deal with Paramount and hopes that this new script steers his career into the direction of being and action film writer.

There isn't much more information on the story so who knows what we can expect other than a film about a journey into hell.
