HACK/SLASH Comic Book Making Its Way to the Big Screen

Hack/Slash is another comic book that has been set up to be adapted into a movie. If you have not heard of this comic, allow me to give you a rundown before I tell you who's involved with the production. The story focuses on a horror victim named Cassie Hack, who hunts down and kills monsters, known as slashers. Of course she has a partner named Vlad, who is a disfigured man that wears a gas mask, and uses two meat cleavers as his weapons. I've never read the comic, but it sounds like an interesting concept.

The film is being developed at Rogue Pictures, and the script was written by Justin Marks, who also wrote, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and Voltron, which have yet to be made into films. As for the guy directing the film, Fredrick Bond, he is a music video and commercial director that has worked with Adidas, Pepsi and Volkswagen as well as Moby's music video for the song Bodyrock. Hack/Slash will be his first feature film.

Have any of you read the comic book? If so will this translate well to the big screen?
