PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 4 Starts Shooting Spring 2010

It's official, Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is going into production spring of 2010. This is according to Disney's head of production Oren Aviv. Personally, I don't think a fourth Pirates movie needs to be made, but it is happening, and Jerry Bruckheimer is the producer making it happen. Not too long ago he said that the script was being worked on, and yes Johnny Depp will be back to play Jack Sparrow. Aviv say's:

"We're going to shoot 'Pirates 4' in April or May of next year. We are going to release it hopefully in 2011 is the plan. hopefully be the first of another trilogy."

Another trilogy? Are you kidding me? Look, I like the pirate movies just as much as the next person, but three more of them? I'm not really into it. I think I'm all pirated out.

Aviv continues:

"It's important to get the story right and it's important to me to scale it down, because we can't get bigger. The movies have subsequently gotten bigger and bigger and very complicated and they were satisfying on so many levels obviously, but I want to kind of reboot the whole thing and bring it down to its core, its essence, just characters."

So there is the information! You tell me if you are on board, or if your going to jump ship, and why.
