Bryce Dallas Howard Cast in Twilights ECLIPSE

Bryce Dallas Howard has been cast in the third Twilight film, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, she is actually going to replace Rachelle Leferve as the character Victoria. Leferve had to leave the franchise due to scheduling conflicts.

I think Howard is a great actress, she has done some pretty good films, but lately she has been taking these these smaller roles, like John Conor's wife in Terminator, and now this role in Twilight. I just think for an actress like her there would be much better roles for her to choose from. It seems like she was on the rise to getting bigger and better roles, not anymore? Who knows, maybe she just really likes the books. Variety reports:

"We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise," said Erik Feig, Summit's president of worldwide production and acquisitions. "Rachelle brought Victoria to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role."

Eclipse starts shooting in Vancouver in August under the direction of David Slade, and it will be released on June 30, 2010. So if your a Twilight fan what are your thoughts on Howard replacing Leferve as the character Victoria?
