Jon Hamm and Rebecca Hall join Ben Affleck's THE TOWN

Jon Hamm(Mad Men) and Rebecca Hall(The Prestige/Vicky Christina Barcelona) are set to star opposite Ben Affleck in the romantic crime thriller, The Town. Affleck will direct as well, following up to his brilliant directorial debut in Gone Baby Gone, with Graham King(The Departed/The Aviator) producing.



An adaptation of the Chuck Hogan novel "Prince of Thieves," the script for Town was worked on by Hogan, Affleck and Peter Craig. The story follows the relationship between a bank manager, to be payed by Hall, the career criminal (Affleck) who stole more than her heart and the dedicated FBI agent trying to bust the crook and his gang.

Hamm is playing the FBI agent. Hall is the reason the criminal wants to clean up his act but also is the agent's golden ticket to catching the man.

The Town begins shooting this September in Boston, excuse me, Bawstin.
