First Look at Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore in WHIP IT!
Here is you first look at Ellen Page, Drew Barrymore, Juliet Lewis, and Kristin Wiig in the new film being directed by Drew Barrymore, called Whip it! The film follows an indie-rock loving misfit, who finds a way of dealing with her small-town misery after she discovers a roller derby league in nearby Austin, and joins it against her mom's will. That's rebellion my friends! If you wanna piss off your parents go join a roller derby.
That right gang, an all girl Roller Derby wearing scout uniforms. This is Drew Barrymore's directorial debut. She has been an actress her whole life, produced some decent films, and now is getting behind the camera. She tells USAToday:
"Everything I've learned throughout my whole life has been going into this piggy bank, and I just smashed it all over the floor for this one,"
