Jared Hess' GENTLEMEN BRONCOS poster

by Eli Reyes

I've been waiting to see what the next movie would be like from writer/director Jared Hess. I liked what he did in Napoleon Dynamite, and absolutely loved his follow up, Nacho Libre, which starred Jack Black and was written by Mike White. Many might disagree. But for me, Nacho had a better repeat viewing. Then again, I had countless "repeat viewings" of Napoleon, as people would horribly quote that movie for two years straight. Well, the wait is over.

Here is a Hi-Res poster which our friends at FirstShowing debuted, of Hess' new comedy Gentleman Broncos. Hess wrote the film with his wife and writing partner Jerusha, and stars Michael Angarano(Lords Of Dogtown), and features the brilliant Jemaine Clement(Flight Of the Conchords). If you look closely at the poster, you can spot Sam Rockwell holding what looks to be a fake meteor(or giant meatball), Mike White with a snake around his neck and Jennifer Coolidge in some sort of I Dream of Jeannie outfit. I'm sure this will all be explained in the movie.

The trailer will debut tomorrow, and we'll serve that to you kind folks as soon as it's hot and ready.

Check out the poster and let us know what you think!

Benjamin(Angarano), home-schooled by his eccentric mother, is a loveable loner whose passion for writing leads him on an offbeat and hilarious journey as his story gets ripped off by the legendary novelist Ronald Chevalier(Clement) and then is adapted into a disastrous movie by the small town's most prolific homespun filmmaker.
