Interesting Image of Laurie Stode in HALLOWEEN 2

What makes this photo interestingly confusing is that fact that Laurie Strode is the person dressed in a young Meyrs' clown costume wearing a mask and holding a knife. Why is Laurie Strode is Strode doing this? It looks like there is blood on that knife, and a small little slit across the duct taped girls neck. All of a sudden this movie sparks my interest a little more. What has Rob Zombie done? Anyone want to tell us what you think this image means? Has Strode gotten into the family business of being a killer?
