3 new TV Spot for Shane Ackers '9'

Here are 3 new TV Spots for Shane Acker's upcoming 3D animated adventure 9, starring Elijah Wood, John C. Reilly, Christopher Plummer, Crispin Glover and Martin Landau.

I don't know if it's the rock music they use, or the fact that it feels like they should have released this film months ago... But sadly, this is looking more and more like a video game to me.

And in the last TV Spot, they use the tag line "This is definitely not your little brother's animated movie." It's very similar to Star Trek's ad campaign "This is not your father's Star Trek."

Just because it worked for Star Trek doesn't mean your gonna convince people using this tactic. If Playtex started an ad campaign like, "This is not your mother's tampon." It doesn't mean I'm gonna go out and but them! Mainly because I'm a guy, but that's beside the point.

I'm still gonna watch the movie when it hits theaters on 9-9-09. How 'bout you?
