I love it when I hear another Steven King story is going to find it's way to the big screen. The next story to get adapted is a short called Home Delivery from from the book, Nightmares and Dreamscapes. John and Paul Buckholts of Our Thing Productions have acquired the rights the rights to the short story, and The Midnight Meat Train director Ryuhei Kitamura is attached to direct the film. Back in 2006 Nightmares and Dreamscapes was made into a TV mini series, but Home Delivery was not part of it.

Here is the story synopsis:

HOME DELIVERY: Maddie Pace is a young, pregnant widow whose husband recently died in a fishing boat accident. When reanimated dead bodies start attacking the living, the only defense is to destroy the dead and burn the pieces. It isn’t long before Maddie must confront the zombie of her dead husband and decide if she is strong enough to watch him die all over again.

I really enjoyed this story and I think it will make for a really good film.
