'Driftwood' comes from the mind of Tim Sullivan, the guy who brought us Detroit Rock City and 2001 Maniacs and distributed by Dark Horse Indie and Image Entertainment.

Driftwood tells the story of troubled teen David Forrester(Ricky Ullman) who gets sent to Driftwood Reform School.Troubled by the loss of his older brother and feeling his parents(Lyn Shaye & Marc McClure) have abandoned him he starts off on the wrong foot with Captain Kennedy(Dallas Page) and his new school mates/in mates.

As weird things start to happen and David starts seeing the ghost of a teenage boy he starts to unravel a mystery that has been silenced for far too long.

As David helps the ghost Jonathon(who was actually Captain Kennedy's nephew)right the wrongs that was conducted on him he learns life lessons in the process.

Driftwood fits right in with today's teen thriller genre.Tim Sullivan who co-wrote the film with Chris Klebe and directed it as well is finding his place in the horror/thriller genre as he should and i hope he continues bringing us more of these types of films. It has a very talented young cast and experienced crew that came together to make a really great movie!
