New Movie Poster for THE HOLE

Thanks to bloody-disgusting we have a new movie poster to show you for the new Joe Dante film, The Hole. The movie is a 3D family horror film, and recently won an award for best 3D film up at the Venice Film festival, beating out movies such as UP and Coraline.

After moving into a new town, brothers Dane and Lucas and their neighbor Julie discover a bottomless hole in their basement that brings their nightmares to life. With shadows lurking around every corner, they must face their darkest fears in order to put an end to the mystery of the hole.

The film stars Teri Polo, Haley Bennett, Chris Massoglia, Nathan Gamble, Peter Shinkoda and Merritt Patterson.

I love many of the films that Joe Dante has directed, and I'm excited to see what he does with this one. As for the poster below... I like the older ones better, the are much more creepy and mysterious, this one is just kind lame. What do you think?
