Hey Gang! If your in California October 2-4, 2009, and your a hardcore geek, then you have to make your way over to the first annual Long Beach Comic Con! Being it's first year it probably wont be that crazy, it's definitely not as big as San Diego Comic Con, which is cool, because it will be a smaller more intimate atmosphere. GeekTyrant will be at the Con in full force covering the event, and we are all pretty excited about it! This is what we love to do! 7:00 Dark COUNTRY MOVIE SCRENING (Sony Pictures): Thomas Jane’s new film and directorial debut Dark Country is a twisted, psycho-noir about a couple forced to deal with a body en route from Vegas, and the dangerous truth that body may reveal. In the tradition of Creepshow and Tales from the Crypt comes five interwoven tales set on Halloween night. 7:00 Give ‘Em Hell Malone (Raw Entertainment): In Thomas Jane’s upcoming film Give ‘Em Hell Malone directed by Russell Mulcahey and written by Mark Hosack, a tough as nails private investigator squares off with gangsters and their thugs to protect a valuable secret. Malone goes through hell to protect the information but he dishes some hell as well. Thomas Jane, Ving Rhames, Elsa Patasky, Doug Hutchison and French Stewart star. Hosted by Thomas Jane.
