THE GREEN HORNET Has Started Shooting

The Green Hornet has stared principal photography. I didn't think the film would get this far into production due to all the problems it has had. I've gotta be honest, I was excited for the movie when I first heard about it, but now that fuse of excitement has gone out. Maybe after I start seeing some stuff from the film the fuse will be re-lit.

The film which is based on the classic 1970's TV series was written by Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg. It's being directed by Michel Gondry.

Seth Rogan will also star in the film along with Taiwanese actor-pop star Jay Chou as Kato, Cameron Diaz, Edward James Olmos ("Battlestar Galactica"), David Harbour (Revolutionary Road) and Tom Wilkinson (Valkyrie). Nicolas Cage is also in negotiations to appear in the film.

The whole film will be shot in Los Angeles and the release date is set for December 17th 2010.
