Gary Oldman's Ranks of Villainy Chart

HumorMovie Gary Oldman by Joey Paur

Gary Oldman is a fantastic actor. He's one of those guys you can tell has a fun time with the roles he plays and the audience seems to enjoy watching his performances. I know when I hear Oldman has a role in a film I instantly have an interest in watching it. I think that goes for most of us.

In the upcoming film The Book of Eli Gary Oldman once again plays an over the top villain. I know recently he has been playing good guys in films, but he's sure has had his bad boy streak in the past, and now there is a cool little chart that was created that shows his "Ranks of Villainy."

The chart includes a key that points out the type of villainous character role that he's played; an anti-hero, dirty lawman, drug addict, evil businessman, saboteur, supernatural.

The gang over at Screen Junkies put together this great chart, and here is a little note from them.

We'd like to congratulate Gary on his comeback to malevolence (we've missed you) with a highlight of the various evil-doers he's made so vivid on the silver screen, ranked in order of his characters' titles.

Check out the chart below and tell us what your favorite Oldman movie character is!
