Monaghan and Farmiga Cast in Duncan Jones’ SOURCE CODE

Moon director Duncan Jones’ new film Source Codejust got two new fantastic additions to the cast. Up In the Air’sVera Farmiga, and Eagle Eye’s Michelle Monaghan are currently in negotiations to join Jake Gyllenhaal who has already been set to star in the film.

The film centers on a soldier played by Gyllenhaal who is part of an experimental government program that is investigating a terrorist incident. He finds himself in the body of an unknown commuter living and reliving a harrowing train bombing until he can find out who is responsible for it.

Farmiga will play a hands-on communications officer controlling Gyllenhaal as he travels through time and space. Monaghan is a woman on the train with whom the man is involved romantically.

The movie sounds really interesting, I like the concept and I’m very excited to see it. This will be Jones’ first film since Moon, if you haven’t seen it yet now is your chance because it’s out on DVD. The guy is a fantastic director and he has surrounded himself with some great talent for this next film. This one is shaping up very nicely.
