David Arquette Confirms Wes Craven will Direct SCREAM 4

I don't know about you, but I'm actually looking forward to seeing the next installment of Scream. I watched the first three films not too long ago again and I was reminded of how great those movies were. With David Arquette, Courtney Cox, and Neve Campbell set to return to the franchise, the big question is... can we expect Wes Craven to come back and direct it as well? 

We've heard rumors that he would direct it, even Neve Campbell has said he will be back to direct Scream 4. Then last night at the Golden Globes David Arquette also confirmed that he would be back to direct the franchise. The only person that hasn't confirmed it, is Craven himself. Here is what Arquette said:

Yes, Wes [Craven] is in, Neve [Campbell] is in, everyone is in.

But then Cox came in with an unsure comment, saying.

I know they're trying to make that work. They'll make it work...I hope.

Here we have two major cast members saying Craven is in, and one of which that is not sure, and we still have yet to hear from Craven himself. Personally I think the franchise needs Craven to direct it, he did such an awesome job with the first three that to make these next three Scream films as successful they need his touch.

Since two out of three cast members confirmed his return, I'm thinking the deal is pretty solid. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
