Kenneth Branagh Calls For THOR Reshoots

Despite being finished shooting already, Marvel's Thor will soon begin reshoots.  Supposedly the filming to be done is more than just a few actors heading back in front of the camera to tighten up parts of the film, there has been additional extras casting going on.  

The casting call is for Nordic men, women and children for non speaking parts. At this time it is not know how extensive the reshoots will actually be.  This is a common practice for many films.  Kenneth Branagh and many other directors are often extreme perfectionists and want to enhance some footage that they feel is slightly lacking from the original shoots.  Since the film is not due in theaters until May 6, 2011 there should be plenty of time to tweak what is needed.

After seeing the trailer I am personally very excited to see this film in the theaters.  What about you?
