Scripts For THE FLASH And GREEN LANTERN 2 Arriving By Christmas

Christmas news has come early!  Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green are currently writing the draft of the story that Greg Berlanti did with them.  Deadline reported today that the script will be turned in to Warner Bros by Christmas.  .  

Despite a successful weekend for Life As We Know It this weekend at the box office and his television show No Ordinary Family a success, Greg Berlanti will not likely be directing The Flash.  There is currently no word on who will be tapped to direct the film as of yet.

In other super hero news, the script for Green Lantern 2 will also be arriving at Warner Bros. by Christmas.  Director Martin Campbell had all three writers working on the script which he is now editing.  So that means that Guggenheim, Green and Berlanti are writing around the clock to make the deadline for Warner Bros.  

The studio is committed to creating a new franchise to be their tent poles since Harry Potter is coming to an end. I am very excited to see Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern and Deadline is also stating that the sequels script is nothing short of awesome.
