Warner Bros. Converting HARRY POTTER films for 3D Blu-Ray

For all you Potter fans out there that are excited about 3D home entertainment, then this is the news you've been waiting for! Warner Bros. has announced plans to convert Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for 3D Blu-ray. There is also a chance the the films will get a 3D theatrical re-release. It's likely that at some point all of the Harry Potter films will get the 3D conversion.

This all comes after the studio decided to scrap plans to release Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 in 3D, because they couldn't do it properly with the time they had. They do still plan on releasing the second part of the grand finale in 3D though.

Personally I'm not a big fan of the 3D home entertainment. I tried it and I wasn't really that impressed. Of course, I haven't been too impressed with most of the 3D films being released in theaters either.

Is anyone excited in watching 3D movies at home?
