PIRANHA 3 DD Sequel Taking A Bite Out Of Theaters This Summer

Dimension Films will be bringing more flesh eating fish into boob infested waters by August 2011. Pirahna 3 DD will be directed by John Gulager and written by Saw 3D scribes Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan.

It should be a foregone conclusion that when a film costs only $20 million dollars to make and ends up taking in $71 million before it's release on DVD and Blu-Ray that it will have a sequel in th works. That sequel is coming quicker than you can say Paranormal Activity 3!

The original film was not high quality nor was it a great 3D experience. I do say that it ranks a thousand times better than My Soul To Take 3D when it comes to the amount of enjoyable 3D action. It will be difficult to get the film released by late summer but I am sure that if the script is finished soon they can pull together the sequel in time. The next task is finding stars to fight off the horde of piranha. Will Elizabeth Shue reprise her role as the butt kicking sheriff?
