Dynamite to Publish New Alex Ross Series

Famed artist Alex Ross (you know, the Super Obama guy) will soon have a new comic series published by Dynamite Entertainment. The book, titled Bring the Thunder, tells the story of a soldier stumbling upon an experimental weapon while in Afghanistan. His discovery ends up transforming him into a living sound, according to a quote from Ross in the official Dynamite Press Release. There will also be some family drama elements in it as the protagonist ends up back home with his love ones trying to adjust to his new powers.

Ross will be on story, designs and covers; Jai Nitz will handle scripts and the interior art will be drawn by William Tortosa. They also enlisted the help of an actual member of the Air Force to ensure an accurate depiction of the military world.
