First Look: Clip From SUPER Starring Rainn Wilson

 

Here is a clip from Super directed by James Gunn starring Rainn Wilson, Liv Tyler, Kevin Bacon and Ellen Page.  

The films synopsis:

After his wife Sarah (Tyler) hooks up with a smooth-talking drug dealer named Jacques (Kevin Bacon), Frank (Wilson) transforms himself into superhero "The Crimson Bolt". Then with the help of a trusty wrench, Frank wages a one man war on crime. Libby (Page), a local comic book store employee, transforms herself into a superheroine named "Boltie" and becomes Frank's sidekick. The two then team up to take Jacques down.

Super will be released by IFC Films in a limited run in only 15 of the top 25 markets unless there is an increased demand in other cities according to Gunn.  As you can see from the clip this may not be a film for everyone, so some markets in the mid west and bible belt may not be getting this film at their theater.  That could change if though with enough fan interest.
