New GREEN LANTERN Concept Art Revealed of the Planet Oa

Here are two new pieces of concept art that have been revealed for the upcoming Warners Bros. film The Green Lantern. Each piece is a design of the planet Oa, The headquarters of the Green Lantern Corps. Thanks to Film School Rejects for the images and description!

The image above is a "wide-open shot of Oa with a great green beam shooting out of the chamber deep underground where the Lanterns meet and get assignments."

The image below "is a mountain outcrop on Oa which looks like Memorial Hall – a place of dedication to fallen Lanterns. If you look closely, you can see Hal Jordan going to meet Sinestro, and what looks like Morrow (the Lantern version of Cryptkeeper) floating around. In the distance, you can see the massive tower that acts as theGuardians Chamber, housing the Guardians of the Universe as they lord over the Lanterns and the charge of keeping an orderly universe."

These are both great, and I can't wait to see them brought to life on the big screen!
