Countdown To HALLOWEEN: Obscure HORROR Movie Watch List - Week 4

Movie Horror by brians

Ok, we're down to one week away from our favorite time of year, Halloween. Here's some more onscure horror movies to check out if you haven't seen them yet.

16. Dead Air- This is a cool zombe film I watched last year, star horror vet Bill Moseley and is a can't miss.

Logan Burnhardt is the king of the airwaves, LA's preeminent shock-jock prime-time radio host -- brash, egotistical, and totally unflappable. Until tonight. There's been an explosion. No, a riot. No, an attack of some sort... Terrorists again? Soon LA is an out-of-control madhouse of infected maniacs, and it's up to Logan to decipher what is happening long enough to stay alive, stay on air, and get out a message to the millions in danger.

17. Dance of the Dead- Just one of those zombie movies you run across and like. Lot's of teenage zombie fun! Part of Sam Raimi's Ghosthoue Pictures Underground horror releases.

On the night of the big high-school prom, the dead rise to eat the living, and the only people who can stop them are the losers who couldn't get dates to the dance.

18. Flight of the Living Dead- You knnow this isn't a bad movie at all considering the cheesy name taken on after Snakes on a Plane. Zombies on a plane huh!

Unholy terror is unleashed in the skies when a deadly, genetically engineered virus is released onboard a transatlantic flight to Paris in this heart-stopping thrill-ride of terror! When a scientist on the run from the CIA manages to smuggle a contaminated body onto a commercial overseas flight, the plane becomes an incubator for a quickly growing army of the undead. With a zombie invasion spreading through the cabin, only a handful of passengers remains to fight off their fellow travelers and land the plane before it's too late.

19. Colour from the Dark-  This is a very creepy tale starring horror legend Debbie Rochon. Watch this movie!

After a couple living on an isolated farm discovers an unknown color in their well, they discover that the color is a force of its own, overtaking the.....

20. The Wrong House- This cool indie horror/action/thriller comes to us from Maine director Shawn French. It's a dark story of twisted revenge and asks the question what if you broke into the wrong house, seriously!

An isolated house in the woods looks like an easy mark to a group of friends camping in the Maine wilderness. The thieves haul several ounces of marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms in the heist. When the homeowners track them down, the thieves learn too late that there are some people you just shouldn't mess with... and that they picked THE WRONG HOUSE.

This self-financed HD slasher is an ambitious debut for writer/director Shawn French of Wisdumb Productions and features breakout performances by Stacy Ann Strang ("I'm Sorry," "Mud") as a reluctant thief and Sue Stevens as the soccer mom from Hell.

Artist Eric Anderson of The Shoggoth Assembly and Kristina Ellery ("2") handled the intricate horror FX in this cautionary tale.

You WILL believe in Karma.
