New Box Sets Of DOCTOR WHO Series 5 Action Figures

A new box set from the fifth series of Doctor Who is on the way from Character Options.  This set is centered around the two part series finale and includes a stone Dalek, a Roman Auton, a stone Roman Auton, Amy Pond, a Sontaran, and a Drone Dalek.  It's up for pre-order in the US and is going to be a Toys R Us exclusive in the UK.

I spotted another set that is popping up on eBay from Australian sellers.  No word yet on whether it is an exclusive release, but it does include the yellow Eternal Dalek that is supposed to be exclusive to Hastings, at least in the US.

Also included are the Eleventh Doctor (in case you don't already have three of those), a Smiler, a Screaming Angel, a Silurian, and a Dalek Ironside.

Lastly, I spotted a video last night I just had to squeeze in here.  It's a nice little peek into what some folks with a bunch of figures and a few resources and editing skills can pull together.  And don't take the content personally.  Many fans have a Doctor that has defined the character for them, perhaps permanently.  The Matt Smith portrayed here is a bit on the cocky side, but it's a pretty funny piece.
