Matthew Broderick Cast in Brett Ratner's TOWER HEIST

Matthew Broderick has joined the cast of Brett Ratner's next film Tower Hiest. He joins the already cast Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, Alan Alda, Tea Leoni, Gabourey Sidibe and Michael Pena in the Universal Pictures comedy.

Tower Heist follows an overworked manager (Stiller) of an illustrious tower residence who leads a team of defrauded workers in a heist of its penthouse tenant, a Bernie Madoff-type Wall Street capitalist (Alda) who pulled a Ponzi scheme and swindled the staff.

Broderick will play Chase Fitzhugh, a Wall Street guy who, like the building staff, had his finances cleaned out by the Alda character, who is under house arrest in the luxury penthouse apartment atop the building.

It been a long time since Broderick has made a decent film, unfortunately I don't think this will be a good film either. The question is, will Ratner be able to make a decent movie? I'll be surprised if he does. What do you all think?
