TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON Behind the Scenes Video and Logo

I know we've seen a ton of behind the scenes video footage from the set of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon over the last few months, but this is the first official behind the scenes footage that's been released, and it comes from the always annoying Entertainment Tonight. And you can see the new familiar looking logo above.

Only ET's Mark Steines and Samantha Harris are on the explosive Chicago set of 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon,' and we're counting down to Thursday's all-'Transformers' ET exclusive! Watch the Windy City get blown away!

Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson are among the returning cast to tear it up in Chi-town, and the blockbuster Michael Bay movie features some new faces to the franchise, including Patrick Dempsey, John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and Victoria's Secret beauty Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as Shia's new love interest.

Synopsis:

The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime “Transformers” character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be released in theaters everywhere in 3D July 1, 2011. Check out the short spot below and tell us what you think! Are you excited for Michael Bay's new Transformers flick?
