Damon Lindelof to Develop Marvel's INCREDIBLE HULK TV Series for ABC?

Earlier this month is was announced that Marvel and Disney would be developing a new Incredible Hulk TV series. There is still no writer or director attached to the series, there was an earlier rumor that Guillermo Del Toro was going to pitch the network his idea for the show, but there's no word on if that actually happened or how it went.

Now Entertainment weekly is saying that Jeph Loeb is interested in bringing on Lost and Star Trek scribe Damon Lindelof to develop the series, which would be absolutely awesome! as of right now this is only a rumor, but I hope it turns out to be true!

Here is what the article had to say:

Insiders caution to EW that any speculation about the return of the big green man is premature, though interest from ABC is apparently there.

But for right now, there is no script and certainly no modern-day Bill Bixby to assume the high-profile role (even though some talent agencies believe Marvel already has its Hulk).

EW has been told that Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb is on the lookout for a genre scribe who can reboot the franchise for today’s TV audiences.

Rumor has it that Damon Lindelof (Lost) is among the writers on his wish list, though the Hollywood Reporter said Battlestar Galactica producer David Eick was also looking to pitch a take.

If Lindelof took on the series this wouldn't be the first time he's worked with The Huk. He previously wrote the awesome Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk comic book series.

What do you all think about Lindelof possibly developing the new Incredible Hulk TV series?
