Trailer: THE GIRL WHO KICKED THE HORNETS NEST

The third film in The Millennium Trilogy, The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets Nest, will be coming to the big screen in October.  That means that this year there has been all three films playing in theaters.  I wish Hollywood could get films out just as quickly.

Check out the trailer for new movie:

Both films so far have been enjoyable with lots of tension and mystery and I am certain the that final film will not let me down.  Noomi Rapace and Michael Nyqvist have both garnered much attention in the U.S. and have a great career ahead of them.  Rapace as you may know has been cast in a lead role in Sherlock Holmes 2 and Michael Nygvist has been cast in Mission Impossible 4

My local independent theater had both The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and the The Girl Who Played With Fire playing simultaneously for over three weeks.   It would be awesome to have them bring back the first two and play the final installment all at once and I could make a day of movies again like I did with the re-release of Star Wars in college.

The first film made $10 million dollars and the second brought in $7 million.  Internationally they each brought in ten times that amount so it is understandable why David Fincher is remaking the trilogy with Rooney Mara, Daniel Craig and Christopher Plummer.  Fincher is an amazing director and if anyone can pull it off it's him.  I am actually excited to see the remake as much as I am the last film.  Before that happens I am looking forward to seeing Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth Salander on the big screen once more.

What do you think of this trailer?  Have you seen any of the films in The Millennium Trilogy?
