PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES Film is Falling Apart
Well this sucks. It was recently announced that director David O' Russell left the film project Pride and Predjudice and Zombies, which was going to be an adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's awesomely fun novel. Natalie Portman was set to star in the film and was officially attached to it last year, but now it looks like she won't be doing the movie either!
Apparently she had scheduleling conflicts that kept her from making the movie when Russell intended on making it. So he left to work on a film called Old St. Louis with Vince Vaughn. Now it looks like Portman is just dropping out of the project as well. Deadline reports, "I don't think she's doing Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, either."
I was really looking forward to seeing Portman in this movie, she is perfect for the lead role! She will stay on as a producer, but that's just not the same. Hopefully they can find another great actress to take on the lead role ,and a great director to breath life into the film project. I would love to see this movie get made!
